Lost dog

My dog Tibu panicked at the parade earlier from the drums and ran away.  She was last seen in the neighborhood behind Shalom Bakery and is probably hiding somewhere quiet. We live in Bocas del Toro so she will not know where to go. She is 7 months old, 28 lbs, mostly black with some brown and white. She just got spayed on Saturday so her stomach is shaved and she has 1 small stitch on her stomach.  She doesn't have her collar on.  Please call me at 6901-6325 if you have seen her!!!

Boquete Hospice and Health Foundation - Volunteers Needed!

Bring a ray of sunshine to Boquete Hospice & Health Foundation patients, even when it's raining outside! We serve terminally ill patients and those experiencing medical emergencies in the expatriate community. We also provide support, comfort and compassion to their caregivers, friends and family. 

Boquete Hospice & Health Foundation is seeking volunteers who are friendly, reliable and empathic. Our volunteers receive the extensive training and group support necessary to assist those in need. 

Our training sessions are limited to approximately 10 people, so please respond to this email very soon if you are interested, as we are planning the training session for early 2012.  Contact Beverly @ 6638-7215, or email bevspirit@yahoo.com for more information.

TRASH COLLECTION IN ALTO JARAMILLO

Message to all residence of Alto Jaramillo from David Ryan!

You may recall my email a few days ago about me constructing a place to leave our trash near the School in Alto Jaramillo to stop the problem with the local dogs ripping open the bags!

In the last email I gave a list of the cost of materials being $372.00 and I asked if you want to use the trash collection deposit I built to pay $20.00 towards costs and that any money over $200.00 that I received would be given to Ruby Mackenzie towards buying presents for the children's Xmas party at the school in Alto Jaramillo.

Judging by the number of bags left last week many people want to use the collection point.

So, for those of you who have not made a donation and want to use it and NOT want take your own trash to Caldera please NOTE;

 I received the $200.00 from a small number of people, so any money you donate towards costs now will go towards buying presents for the children!

Please give your $20.00 or more to Lee Zelter at the Tuesday morning meeting at the theater or to Ruby Mackenzie or me!

I will be sending via this notice service a list of the people who made a donation!

Thanks in advance for putting a smile on a local child's face this Christmas!
