[News Boquete] YOGA BOQUETE : A variety of yoga classes!

Yoga Boquete continues to offer a variety of yoga classes in two great locations!!!

COMMUNITY CLASSES:

GENTLE HATHA YOGA
Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9:30 am - 10:00 am

"Community Class" -- held in the Amigos de Animales building in Alto Boquete

A Hatha Yoga class that is gentle, slow and great for beginners or students who prefer a more relaxed style. As this class develops it is able to be custom-tailored to the group's needs in the spirit of traditional yoga where asanas (poses) were 'prescribed' for various conditions (ie, back pain, tight shoulders, and a multitude of other aliments / afflictions.) … Hence, the more you attend practice -- and provide feedback -- the more supportive and deep the practice will become. This is Yoga Boquete's most popular class!

60 min class: $6.00 / Mat rental available: $1.00

SPA CLASSES:

GENTLE HATHA YOGA
Tuesday: 8:30 am

Get an early start before the Tuesday Market!!!
A Hatha Yoga class that is gentle, slow and great for beginners or students who prefer a more relaxed style. YOGA for EveryBODY
Tuesday &  Thursday: 4:00 pm

A slow-to-moderate mix of Hatha & Vinyasa styles — good for beginners, as well as intermediate. In this class, postures are practiced to align, stretch, strengthen, and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques are also integrated. Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make a full circuit of the body's range of motion with standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, and hip openers.

ASHTANGA YOGA (Short Form)
Saturday: 9:00 am

Ashtanga Yoga is back on the schedule, by request!
This is an active 60 minute class, structured on the main poses from Primary Series. Focus is on the breath. Poses are held for five breaths and are interconnected with flowing movements. The same sequence is repeated each class, building strength, flexibility and focus...  so that eventually your practice becomes a powerful moving meditation!  Class is open to beginners, but is not a 'gentle-style' class...  which means lots of room to grow!

"Spa Classes" -- held at the Haven Spa in Bajo Boquete

Residents: $8.00 / Visitors: $10;  Mats provided

A variety of styles available, including Chair Yoga and Yoga Nidra (guided meditation).
Cost starts at $25 (in-home private); Mats and props provided.
