Happy New Year from Amigos de Animales 🎉

Happy New Year from Amigos de Animales This was certainly not the year any of us anticipated, but we all did the best we could and we are very thankful and grateful to everyone who has supported us this year and the years before. Despite the quarantine, we had our Fundraiser virtually and raised $14,000. Our calendar for 2021 has just about sold out and should generate about $4500. We have raised money for and given away over 17,000 pounds of dog and cat food to support families who can barely afford to feed themselves, much less their animals. We have seen a need for a mobile van/clinic that can take us to the people who need us if they cannot come to us and begun raising money for that goal. And most importantly, we have been able to carry out our mission of low or no cost spay/neuter clinics in accordance with the guidelines of MINSA. We don't know what next year will bring but we do know that we will be here for the community of Boquete. We are hoping to start up our clinics in mid-January and we will send out notice when that can be confirmed. We are planning to do a BCP Community Chat at the Library in mid-March about caring for your pet in Panama. More information will go out as we progress. We hope to get back into the schools to work with the students about caring for their pets. There is a lot of work to be done in 2021, and with the help of our vets and volunteers and donors, we will be there as always for the community. Call to Action 2021 will be a very busy year for us and there are many ways that you can help Amigos de Animales.
