[News Boquete] Start the Year off with a BANG!!

Hola!!

 

This week we have lots to cover so let's get down to the good stuff?  Welcome to the 2 Guys menu preview.  This will be our first menu for the 2018 year and we want you to check it out!!  This week we will have Southern Buttery and Creamy Cheddar Grits.  When was the last time you enjoyed this scrumptious meal?  Did you have it for breakfast with bacon and eggs, did you eat it with sautéed lemon garlic shrimp and fresh herbs, or are you new to the grit eating community. This reminds me of a scene in "My Cousin Vinny" where Joe Pesci gets served some grits for the first time.  Click here to see it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWC0sKCS5oA.     Our grits are slow cooked for about an hour with Grass Fed Butter, Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese, salt, pepper,  a little cream and a little milk.  I'm going to go out on a limb but these may be the very best grits you'll ever eat in your whole life.  Talk about crazy!  BTW.. No instant grits here. 

 

Based off of some New Years request we are making Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Bratwurst sausage, Andouille Sausage, Slow cooked Texas Pulled Pork (BBQ included), Chicken Leek casserole, Southern Cole Slaw, Pumpkin Bread, Cream of Chicken Soup and a wonderful take on Panera Breads Cheddar Broccoli Soup.  I Love this soup.  We have made extra Pot Pies this week and for those of you looking for that Black Eyed Peas dish look no farther, Hoppin' John.  Whoa...   Our Smoked chicken and veggies were a bit hit last week as well as a delicious healthy dinner that's quick and painless. 

 

Finally our KimChi is ready and its awesome.  I tamed the umami ingredients a touch and added an element of sweetness to balance out the very strong flavors.  If you enjoy KimChi we think that you will really enjoy the authenticity of our product.  If you would like to know what's in our "Gut Friendly" probiotic rich product please be sure to click on the "read more" option under the product through our website. 

 

What a way to start the New Year off.  I think that we may be sporting the largest and most diverse menu we've ever offered.  I hope that you see something you like.  This Monday we will be delivering as usual and pick up times at our kitchen are between 2 and 5.  So basically the normal routine.

I know that I say this throughout the year but I really mean it and I want you to know how much we appreciate you.  We feel so blessed to know you and are so thankful that you have opened up your home and your heart to our family stories and our cooking.  Cooking is what we love to do and cooking for you is our highest honor.  Thank you for allowing us to do that.
