Good day, and thank you for taking the time to read today's newsletter. Your pocketbook will thank you 😉.
Eating on a budget is a real concern for many locals and expats, but over the years this has become increasingly challenging as food prices are on the rise here in Boquete.
There is a hope…….
The 2 Guys & A Cooler team has set out to roll the clock back and create a new standard in Boquete dining — a standard where quality matters, portion size matters, and prices are reasonable. Our dynamic menu offers a wide variety of prepared meals to choose from at prices that make sense. We make Mexican, Thai, Chinese, Cajun, Italian, Vietnamese, Indian, French, Southern American comfort food, and Texas BBQ — just to name a few of the different cuisines we offer.
Let's talk prices. Each one of our meals can usually be enjoyed by two adults (sometimes even more) for prices that range between $4 and $6 per person.
Great food shouldn't break the bank (even if you live in a tourist hot spot 😉).
Be a part of the Panama Food Club and get exclusive deals on our weekly menu. Join our weekly newsletter for a first look at what's happening in the 2 Guys & A Cooler kitchen. Every week we share stories, tips and tricks, and from time to time, we even give up some of our kitchen secrets. Want to know how we make our Mexican Tamales? In this week's newsletter, I'll be sharing our recipe along with a step-by-step video tutorial.
The Panama Food Club is more than just great food at great prices — it's about community. Our marketing is honest, our customer service will always exceed your expectations, and every one of my newsletters are personally written by me. Proudly serving the highlands and surrounding areas for over 14 years.
This week we have:
Hoppin' Johns: A classic black-eyed pea dish with smoked ham and smoked sausage.
New Orleans Red Beans & Andouille Sausage: While this Crescent City favorite is often enjoyed on Mondays, we love it all the time. House-crafted smoked andouille sausage mixed with a trinity of vegetables and creamy kidney beans. A real taste of New Orleans in Boquete.
Chicken, Leek, Mushroom, Bacon Dinner: Is it possible to capture a flavor from a specific time? We believe it is. Our chicken, leek, mushroom, bacon dinner brings those warm and comforting flavors of the 1950s. Tender chicken thighs seared then braised in a leek, mushroom, and crispy bacon gravy. Enjoy this dinner by itself with a warm piece of crusty bread, or add mashed potatoes or rice to seal the deal.
Tibetan Lentil Soup (vegan): A beautiful soup whose flavors are created by the assortment of fresh vegetables in this dish, the tender lentils that are added, and the simple but strategic spices that are used. This is a very hearty soup that really delivers.
The above-mentioned dishes are new this week. Currently, we also have Chicken Alfredo, Salisbury Steak, Mexican Tamale Casserole, Breakfast Sandwiches, Mexican Beef Steak Burritos, Mexican Mole, Authentic Mexican Beef Tamales, Greek Moussaka, Salmon Croquettes w/ Rice Pilaf, Deluxe Mac & Cheese, Chicken Tikka Masala, Thai Panang Chicken, and LOTS more!!
Next week we plan on making our Cajun Chicken & Sausage Gumbo and if time permits, I'll make Cajun Etouffee as well!!
