[News Boquete] Help make a lasting record of rock art around Boquete.

Way beyond 'The DaVinci Code'.
Help save the messages from the ancients in native rock art around Boquete.
We are losing the info in the Caldera glyphs due to scrubbing away mould.
Watch this one minute video intro to the incredible rock art story being told in Chiriqui and Boquete especially. Did you know part of the odd beehive and sloped rock formation natives call the 'Pata de Macho' or Tapir Hoof; that is visible to the north side of Volcancito road in Alto Boquete, is featured in Botticelli's Sistine Chapel work 'Life of Moses' done in 1471, over two decades before Columbus?! It is EVE's head.
More intricate and lasting than crop circles.
EVE's severed head, as Templar knights saw when they found the Ark buried in the horse stables under Solomon's Temple, features in rock paintings, rock formations, and petroglyphs on hilltops all around Boquete. After 4 trips with my photos downtown, many emails and calls to Panama City,, no one in town, not the mayor, deputy, Melvyn the native culture agent,.. etc care about my photos, their message or getting an exhibition up nor in Panama City MiCultura, SiCiltura, Tourism.

So, I turn to you, expats in Boquete. Anybody out there ready to wake up?

I have started a GoFundMe to raise money for a beautiful picture book that ties in Panama rock art with other sites in the Americas, especially near Niagara, another canal zone, and near the Mississippi outside Kansas City.

Paintings from DaVinci, Titian and other Renaissance and Baroque artists that hide clues to the lost story of EVE and genesis, often images of rock art from Panama, will be included in the book. I studied ancient languages to become a Classics professor at the Universities of Toronto and Chicago.
My specialty was majik mystery cults such as Eleusis, Dionysus, Mithras as well as Neoplatonism and gnostic texts. These are the same topics the artists draw from so I know the symbolism to look for.
Thank-you for your support.
Pam at Ankh Path.

[News Boquete] Save Money and Feast like a King

doshombrespanama.com

So much is happening in 2026!! Our "Experience" project is coming along beautifully, and we are finishing Phase 1 this week. The dragon fruit orchard looks amazing, and we plan to start planting all 220 varieties we currently have within the next 4–6 weeks.

If you are new in town, I'd like to start by saying welcome to Boquete. My name is Eric, and I am the owner and head chef of 2 Guys & A Cooler. We are just a few months away from celebrating our 15-year anniversary of serving premium freezer meals (and more) to the ChiriquΓ Highlands. Our menu began as a prepared-meal business, but as many locals can attest, it has grown into so much more over the years.

Today, we not only offer a dynamic menu of over 350 entrΓ©es that are constantly rotating, but we also provide top level charcuterie, premium body care soaps, long-term food storage (freeze-dried meals), single-ingredient dog treats, and a complete raw dog food option for your furry friends (just to name a few).

2 Guys & A Cooler is all about serving the community delicious food without breaking the bank. Our customers often tell us that our meals can easily feed two adults—and many are able to get four meals from a single dinner. That brings the cost of one of our plates to an astounding $2.00–$2.50 per person. Incredible!!! Save money and feast like a king!!

Our food options are vast, so whether you prefer vegan, vegetarian, beef, pork, chicken, shrimp, or fish—no worries. We've got you covered with food you can trust.

As a side note, we've had lots of requests to see the process of how we make Italian Charcuterie here in Panama.  Rather than explaining the method I thought it would be more fun to show you!!  If you are interested you can check out our latest YouTube video post that we made showing the entire process from beginning to end.  The salami is called Salami Napoli and it turned out AMAZING:  https://youtu.be/ndtUuri_2kI

BIG NEWS NEXT WEEK!!!!

Chicken and Beef Pot Pies will be back on the menu and if all goes according to plan should be available next week.  I'll send out a notification when preorders will become available.  If you are not currently subscribed to our newsletter, be sure to click the link below to stay up to date with the lates news from our kitchen and get updates regarding Boquete's newest "Experience".

This week we have added the following options to our menu:

Old Fashion Cabbage Rolls – Let's talk about this beautiful Polish inspired creation (GoΕ‚Δ…bki). Our Cabbage Rolls start with freshly ground cuts of meat.  This meat is then tossed in a seasoned rice, onion, tomato sauce and marinated for 24 hours.  The following day we select the largest heads of cabbage (usually 100 pounds give or take) and begin the process of blanching and preparing the cabbage.  The final step in this labor of love entrΓ©e is hand stuffing and baking these rolls.  The entire process takes close to 3 days and it's totally worth it.  Cabbage Rolls with tender rice binding meat that's not only incredibly flavorful but boasts an amazing texture.  If you enjoy good food this is a must in our book.  Each order comes with 4 cabbage rolls, extra sauce, and baked cabbage (totaling almost 2 pounds by weight).

Boquete Chili – This crowd-pleaser has been on our menu for nearly 13 years, and in that time, we've easily made over four tons of this chili. Perfect as a standalone meal, this dinner packs in the protein and is loaded with fresh onion, garlic, bell peppers, tomatoes, and all those Southwestern spices that have helped our chili stand the test of time. You can also use it to top off a delicious burger (if you want to recreate the Atlanta "Ghetto" burger), add it to our mac & cheese for a wonderful chili mac experience, top a loaded baked potato or French fries, or even add our chili to a bag of Fritos (if you can find them πŸ˜…). However you choose to enjoy this meal, it never disappoints.  Each portion weighs over 2 pounds and is perfect for 1-2 adults.

Buttermilk Biscuits – A local favorite and a dish we sell out of each week.  Our buttermilk biscuits are made with live cultured buttermilk and LOTS of butter!!  We do not cook these biscuits as we want you to experience this meal in the freshest way possible.  Our cooking instructions will have you baking some of the most delicious, flaky, and buttery biscuits around.  Each order comes with 2 biscuits.

Breakfast Sausage (Mild, Medium, & Spicy) – Enjoy the classic flavors of traditional sage breakfast sausage.  This sausage is sold uncooked and is perfect for making breakfast links, patties, or adding it to your favorite dish.  We have 3 levels of heat available this week.  Each order is 1 pound.

Breakfast Sausage Waffles – Talk about a beautiful pairing!!  Breakfast sausage infused into our waffle batter for a complete package.  Top with your favorite syrup or fruit to seal the deal.  Each pack comes with 2 waffles.

We also have Mexican Quesadillas, Indian Saag Paneer, Thai Green Curry, Coconut Lentil Dahl, New Orleans Red Beans and Sausage, Chicken Parmesan, Mac & Cheese, and Pumpkin Ravioli.  Just to name a few…

2 Guys & A Cooler – We Cook, So You Don't Have To (doshombrespanama.com)

Panama Food Club — where you'll always get more for less.

Thanks for taking the time to read this newsletter.  It is always an honor and pleasure to serve you.
