Many people come to Panama to improve their health and wellness. An important part of healthy living involves healthy eating and that requires good quality food. After many years of trying to find organic foods in Panama, we have been disappointed with the limited options available. This is a problem because if you are not eating organic foods the chances are good that you are ingesting metals, pollutants, toxins and genetically modified organisms.
When you eat food from typical store shelves, they are often loaded with ingredients that not only make us sick, but dumb us down and eventually kill us. So while many products are marketed and sold as food – they have the opposite effect on our bodies. Instead of supporting our health, they diminish it.
This is unacceptable for us and we felt compelled to do something about it. That is why we are proud to announce the opening of 153 Whole Foods here in downtown Boquete.
At 153 Whole Foods you will find fresh organic foods delivered directly from local organic farms. We have partnered with Finca Santa Marta to provide organic vegetables and greens daily. Looking for fresh raw milk? We have that too. We also plan on providing organic grass fed meats as well as real organic chicken and eggs. 153 Whole Foods will soon provide one-stop shopping for all your healthy food options, including vegetarian and vegan.
We will be adding new products all the time, and we invite you to stop by and check us out!
We are conveniently located across from the Catholic church and the Farmacias Revilla where there is plenty of parking available!
