Great day to you. What a gorgeous day it is today!! We have lots of updates for this week's menu but first I wanted to let you know of a new business we just discovered here in Boquete. It comes at an interesting time as I've been getting lots of questions regarding this type of business.
Are you familiar with the Milky Burger? It's a fried chicken place in Los Naranjos (right by where we live). Directly behind Milky Burger on the road to Emily's Butterfly and honey farm is a new Dental Clinic called "Khristel Gutierrez Dental Clinic". The dentist there is Dra. Dagmar Rivera and is quite possibly the sweetest human being on the planet. She speaks English and offers the full gamut of dental services. They do dental exams, esthetic restorations, cleanings, root canals and crowns (including repairs), cavity removal, whitening, orthodontics (braces), dental prosthesis, and do in house dental x-rays for cavity, gum line, and impacted tooth checks. We have been talking our kids there as we have been somewhat dissatisfied with some of the other local dentist. Keira is lined up to get some braces and finding this dental clinic has been a real blessing. What we love about this clinic is that Dra. Dagmar is respectful and gentle. She is considerate, accommodating, good natured, and is really concerned about her patients. I'm not a big fan of pushy dentists who only see me as a paycheck so for me I find the whole experience very comfortable. You don't have to worry about getting "gringo'ed" as her prices are very competitive and she runs an honest clinic. I feel that the biggest compliment that I can offer about this new Dental clinic is that Cecelia (my wife) gives it her seal of approval. This may not mean much to you but to give you some point of reference if this clinic was a restaurant it would be awarded 3 Michelin stars!! Cecelia does not like very many medical clinics :)
They are open Monday through Friday 9am to 6pm and their phone number is 720-1018. If you need a dentist and are looking for a low stress experience be sure to look them up.
Onto the next subject. We have been getting lots of emails asking about our soap and I feel bad that I haven't updated my site to reflect the new bars we have. I am hoping to have all the pictures on the site by this afternoon but as of not the site has all of the soap bars that we have available. We tried to accommodate all the price points so our bars range from $1 to $5 depending on the ingredients and the size. If you have any questions about any of the bars just let me know. We are really excited as we have a few really cool new ones like holiday Pumpkin Spice, 50 shades of lavender, Peppermint Double Butter, Japanese Cherry Blossom, Apple Crisp, and so many more. These soaps are not only great for you but make for the most thoughtful gifts as they are not only incredible bars of soap but each one of them has a unique artistic fingerprint. I'm not very creative and oddly enough making soap allows me to express my creativity in was I otherwise can't.
This week we are offering 2 versions of Tikka Masala. We have our very popular chicken version and we have a very limited cauliflower version that is vegetarian. Both versions of our tikka masala are Keto Friendly, Gluten Free, Low sodium, exotic, and is a dish that really captures the essence of Indian Cuisine. Medium spicy and is generally served with rice (not included) we think you will just love it!
Another update comes with the Spinach and artichoke dip. I want to start off by saying that nothing has changed with the recipe. It's perfect and is one of our best-selling products. What we did change was the packaging. Our old packaging was too big for this product and the containers kept getting crushed and damaged. So, we found a container that was more appropriately sized for this dish and although it looks smaller, I can assure you that the size of the serving has not changed. Each portion is weighed (to just under 1 pound) and packaged for consistency. Makes for a great dip, a party side, or you can add broccoli to it, stuff it in a chicken breast, serve it over pasta or potatoes, you can get totally creative with it. Such a versatile product.
Finally, we have a very limited number of rustic house crafted pumpkin pies designed for 2 adults or 4 depending on the size. These pies are delicious as we used fresh local pumpkin and seasonal spices to really capture the spirit of this seasonal dessert. All it needs is some whipped cream and you are in business. In addition to Pumpkin Pies we will also have a very limited amount of Pumpkin breads on the menu this week.

To place an order simply complete the online ordering process and make sure you submit the order when complete. (this is the step most commonly missed) You will get an order number immediately after completing your order. I make all deliveries on Monday between 2 and 5 and if you are picking up at our location please come by Monday between 2 and 5 as well. Tuesday we are at the BCP between 9 and noon and if you chose to pick up there, we are located in the end of the theater hallway by the rear exit.
