[News Boquete] Welcome Home (Are you New in Boquete?)

Hello,

Are you new in town?  Please allow me to introduce myself.  My name is Eric.  I'm a born again Bible believing Christian and  I am the owner of a small family run business called "2 Guys & A Cooler".   I would like to welcome you to Boquete.  Your new home.  There have been many families within the past 6 months leave their comfortable life in the Unites States to start a new Adventure here in Panama. I guess I must say that I can't blame you, we did the same thing 5 years ago.  Now that you are here how do you like it?  Is it everything that you dreamed it would be?  Are you overwhelmed yet?

I remember the first 6 weeks of being in Panama.  It was as if Time was moving so fast I couldn't see straight.  The rainy season was in full effect and I was faced with the biggest question of my life, "What do I do now?"  Talk about a wild feeling.  I just wanted to tell you that you are not alone.

If there's anything that you need please don't hesitate to email me or call me.  I can most likely answer all of your questions and if I can't then I can find someone who can. Panama is a great country and a wonderful place to live.  Sometimes you just have to take it one day at a time and remember to not sweat the small stuff (trust me there's going to be plenty of small stuff).  Remember where your Trust lies.

A word of caution as well.  There is no shortage of those wanting to take advantage of you.  Be aware and use discernment when dealing with other expats and Panamanians alike.  As they say, "You will know them by their fruits!".

If you enjoy a good Bible Study, we get together on Tuesday afternoons to study the Bible in greater depth than most people are comfortable with...  It's a Meat and Potatoes kind of study if you know what I mean.  If you want to know more about it let me know.  There is limited space.

How are you loving the food?  Cooking can be a bit tricky especially the meats!!  Our business is designed to help make your transition between two worlds just a little bit easier.  If you ever need our service let me know.  We prepare high quality and affordable dinners for those who want life to be a bit easier in the kitchen.  We send out a menu each week to our Members and if they see anything that they like they let me know.  It's simple and stress free.  The coolest part about it is that you get to enjoy some familiar tastes from home...  Check out our menu this week below.

I hope that you find what you are looking for in this amazing community.  If I can help in anyway please let me know.  If you would like to get on my distribution list or if you have a question about something please email me at cajuneric@gmail.com  .

See you around

Entrees

Beef Wellington  $12.00 :  This week we are pushing the envelope with a limited supply of this show stopper.  We had to deconstruct the very essence of how a beef wellington is made to understand the dynamics of how to turn it into a freezer meal.  This dinner is simply ridiculous.  Each dinner is served with a nice thick cut of seared premium filet mignon.  We add caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms (Crimini and Button), sautéed spinach, and finally bleu cheese.  All of this is wrapped tightly in a puff pastry and chilled.  This entree is cooked in Butter and Extra Virgin Olive Oil and feeds 2 Adults.  All you have to do is finish the baking process.  This dish does not come with a side item.  SOLD OUT
