If you want true Whole House Protection, your Cable TV, Telephone, Internet Radio wires need dedicated surge protectors separate from the panel mount units. Lightning can travel on ANY wire that enters the building and I know of many people who have sustained considerable lightning damage through the Cable Onda (cable TV) service wire.
