Hello,
Lily wanders around Los Naranjos trying to find food to provide sufficient milk for her babies.
We need your help with Lily and dozens of other animals, both cats and dogs who have been neglected or abandoned or who live with low-income families who do not have enough food for themselves, much less their pets.
That is why we started the Amigos de Animales animal feeding program in March of 2020. We continued in 2021 and during 2022, we have spent over $1,200 per month (just over $14,000 per year) feeding various groups of dogs and cats in homes and home shelters and even on the street.
Right now, you can assist us and these animals by clicking on the button below and donating whatever you possibly can to keep these animals alive through our feeding program.
We deliver 20 bags of both dog and cat food (over 1,400 pounds) each month to those families that are still struggling financially due to the pandemic.
Most local animals get fed scraps, not pet food, but when the family isn't eating enough, neither are their animals.
