The trails are ready, the plants are thriving, and your hosts, Dianne and Elizabeth, are eager to meet you and introduce you to the wisdom and healing power of medicinal plants.
The tour includes a 90+ minutes stroll through different micro-ecologies. You will see, taste, touch and smell a wide selection of cloud forest botanicals in their native habitat or under cultivation. You will learn about indigenous traditions as well as current pharmaceutical research findings.
After your walk, enjoy fresh coffee, herbal lemonade and tropical fruits on the Terrace, while enjoying a view that stretches clear to Costa Rica. Bring your camera--the vistas are breathtaking.
Finca Luz is a working farm only 10 minutes fron Boquete. We grow coffee, bananas, citrus, and medicinal plants. We are committed to healthy growing and living and to exploring alternative ways of living lightly on the land. We are a work in progress-- just like life.

Tour begins promptly at 9:30 AM -- we will meet guests in town at 9:15 sharp to guide them up the mountain. Let us know if you need transportation and we will arrange that for you. If you have special needs, please let us know in advance.
