The American Citizen Services Unit would like to alert U.S. citizens residing and/or traveling in the Chiriqui Province about an outbreak of the influenza virus in the region. The Panamanian Ministry of Health (MINSA) has reported 22 confirmed cases of influenza, including two confirmed cases ofthe H1N1 flu virus in Chiriqui.
