LOST DOG - Rio the dog was lost in Potrerillos Abajo around 8am on April 30.
He is brown, 45 pounds, likes to run and chase cows in the fields. He has a brown collar with his name "Rio" and some phone numbers. We are worried that he could've been kicked by a cow and could be hurt. He will be quite skittish if startled.
Last seen April 30 early morning in Potrerillos Abajo and was heading north through cow pastures either towards Volcan, Potrerillos Arriba, or Palmira. He is fast and could be anywhere by now, possibly heading toward Volcancito or Bajo Boquete if he can make it that far, but may accidentally go towards Volcan, or return to Potrerillos to find his brother Remo.
He was lost from the Howling Success dog kennel, near Zapadora and the police station in Potrerillos. We are worried and miss him and are currently in the USA and can't be actively searching for him until we return on Wednesday. Anything helps, please notify anyone in these areas and keep watching for him. We will offer a reward for anything that can help find him.
