The Lightning Season is winding down but it's better to be early than late. Tragically, I still get calls from people after they've suffered damage from surges. A recent example is someone who unplugs everything when lightning is getting close. Unfortunately, the strike hit before they could get this done and they experienced a lot of damage. Also, if you are unplugging something at the moment of the strike, it could be very dangerous for you.
