[News Boquete] Ferments, Lots of New Items, Dragon Fruit Cuttings, and MORE!!

Hello,

Hope that you are having a great week.  Lots of really great options to choose from this week.  For starters we have some delicious ferments back on the menu.

Kim Chi has been one of our most requested ferments and since it's been such a long time, we thought it was time.  Our Kim Chi is delightfully tangy with a medium spice level.  Not too hot.  Our ingredients come directly from Korea so the flavors and overall experience is very authentic.  In addition to this being incredibly delicious, it's SUPER healthy for you.  Our Kim Chi has been naturally fermented and because of this it contains a wonderful colony of probiotics.  This is a very gut friendly food that helps restore the natural balance of good bacteria in your stomach.

We also have kefir milk and kombucha mothers available this week as well.  You can read more about each item under the fermented food section of our menu.

On the menu we have lots of new and favorite options to choose from like Mexican Tamale Casserole, 3 bean rotisserie chicken salsa verde soup (with roasted tomatillos), Black Bean Soup, Rotisserie Chicken Panini's, Creamy Shells and Beef, Pumpkin Smothered Cheese Ravioli with toasted almonds, Tuna Casserole, Salmon Croquettes over Rice Pilaf, Mexican Burritos, and LOTS more!!!  Be sure to check out the complete list on our menu.

Let's switch gears for a minute.  We currently have over 125 different varieties of Dragon fruit and right now we have a limited quantity of rooted cuttings for those of you who would like to start growing your very own dragon fruit.  We suggest getting at least 2 different varieties as the cross pollination will yield bigger and better tasting fruit.  You can read more about each variety on our site (scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page to see the dragon fruit).  Just click on the name to open a description page for each variety.  Each variety has it's own unique flavor profile, size, and color.

Here are the available varieties (if you would like to order one, you can do it from our website – Just scroll all the way to the bottom of the site and you will see what we have available).  All Dragon Fruit plants can be picked up from our location at your convenience.  Just place the order like normal and select Alto Lino as the delivery area.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Finally, we are very excited to start offering a "Long Term Storage" food option (if the demand is there of course).  If you are interested in food that is shelf stable and does not require refrigeration that can be stored for up to 25 years in your pantry let me know by replying to this email.  We are not quite ready to make this happen but we are close.  The idea is to take several of our most popular entrees and create "emergency food" options.  I'd love to know what you think.

Be sure to register as a member to our new site to see this week's offerings.  Let me know if you have any questions.
