Hello,
We need your help - for the past several years, we have had a constant waiting list of 300-500 animals. We currently only have about 200, so we need more dogs and cats for our clinic which will be held on June 25th.
Do you have a friend or neighbor or worker who has an animal that needs to be sterilized? We have certificates at a cost of $20 for dogs and $10 for cats, and you can help them by paying for the certificates and giving them to your neighbor, friend, or worker. You can register and get an appointment for them.
Historically, about 2/3 of the animals we sterilize are female. Males should also be neutered for the following reasons:
• Reduces or eliminates the risk of spraying and marking.
• Reduces desire to wander, so the animal is less likely to be injured in fights or car accidents
• The risk of testicular cancer is eliminated and the incidence of prostate diseases decreases
• Reduces the number of unwanted cats, kittens, dogs and puppies
• Decreases aggressive behavior, including dog bites
• Helps dogs and cats to have a longer and healthier life
• Males can fertilize between 7 and 10 females per day

Below is a graph showing the effect of not spaying a female and her mate. Registration will close on June 19.
Thank you, Amigos de Animales
