[News Boquete] Market news update

The Boquete Tuesday Market has been at the heart of the community for over 17 years, initially as just a few vendors alongside the Tuesday Talks, it became part of the BCP Foundation in 2007 and this evolved into Boquete Centro de Eventos in 2018. Now we are excited to tell you about the biggest change that is about to occur! WE ARE MOVING From Tuesdays to Thursdays From Bajo Boquete to Alto Boquete   Starting on June 27th, Boquete Community Market will be held in the Amigos de Animales Building* in Alto Boquete, every Thursday Morning from 9-12 .Why are we moving? Although the Arco Iris Room has been a very good venue, unfortunately we have had to close when the Feria has decided to use the room for other events such as the the Flower and Coffee Festival and the Orchid Festival. By moving we are ensuring that we can operate year-round without those interruptions Easy access and parking without the need to go into Boquete during the busy seasons, and easier for people from Palmira, Potrerillos, Dolega and beyond. We have often been asked by both vendors and customers to have a different day so that there are two opportunities for buying and selling We will have our usual mix of local and international vendors including several exciting new additions to our family – details to follow soon! Free coffee will be available as usual and the volunteer mail service to USA continues, with the addition of a service to UK and Europe. The market functions with the help of many volunteers and we welcome anyone who would like to volunteer to help in any capacity. We look forward to welcoming you to your Community Market!   * The Amigos de Animales building is located across the highway from Ivan's Ferreteria and you can find it on google maps.
