A Rocks and Minerals class is being offered on Sunday, May 26 from 1-3 pm at the Boquete Country Club. This class, which is limited to 10 people, will introduce the participants to some of the common and less common rocks and minerals found in the Chiriqui area. This will be a very hands experience and participants will both handle the many rock samples available, but will be able to see them using a microscope. The class is taught by Dr. Paul Myers, emeritus professor of Geology at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. To register for the class email welthyh@gmai.com.
