[News Boquete] Are you a part of the Panama Food Club? Great Food - Great Value

It's Independence Month, what a great time of year! November brings in the change of seasons, lots of festivities, and let's not forget about the drums😅. So much happening not only in Panama but in the 2 Guys & A Cooler kitchen as well! If you are not familiar with who we are, we are a small family-run prepared meal business. Between myself, my wife (Cecelia), and 3 children (Chandler, Keira, and Aidan), we have dedicated the past 14 years to serving the Chiriqui Highlands with our signature freezer meals.

The task of cooking for a community is something we take very seriously, and over the years we've seen lots of food businesses come and go. The one common thread amongst the food businesses that survive this very difficult market is that they all rely on the customer experience to stay in operation. When you sit down to eat dinner (whether it's at a restaurant or a delicious 2 Guys & A Cooler meal in the comfort of your own home), the only thing that matters is your experience, and this happens to be the area we thrive in. It's the reason we've been in operation for 14 years. Exceptional Customer Experience! Fun fact: Did you know that in 2017, 2 Guys & A Cooler was voted the #1 place to eat in Boquete for quality, value, and the best customer experience, at least according to Trip Advisor (funny enough I had to remove the listing because too many people started to think that we were a restaurant and they would call non-stop looking to make reservations 😂).

Our market approach has always been very simple: "Provide the highest-quality meals for the lowest price." We are living proof that in 2024 you can enjoy a delicious high-quality home-cooked dinner for between $3 and $5 per person (unless, of course, you are a 16-year-old with a voracious appetite; in that case, it might cost you $8 and $10 🤣). 14 years ago, we adopted the slogan "We Cook so You Don't Have to," and we did this because our customers quickly realized that it was cheaper to buy meals from us than cook the same meal themselves. Our service caters to those who don't feel like or aren't really good at cooking, those who want a break from their kitchen, or anyone who wants to mix up the flavors in their daily eating routine.  One particular area that we have become famous for is providing meals to husbands whose wife had to leave town for several weeks.  No matter your needs are, we are here for you. Great food at an Unbeatable Price.

Over the years we have had to evolve as we grew.  One of the biggest changes that we had to make recently was to become a members site, The Panama Food Club.  Joining the Panama Food Club (AKA 2 Guys & A Cooler) is extremely easy and takes less than 2 minutes.  The reason we had to do this is actually pretty funny. Our brand "2 Guys & A Cooler" has gained an international audience.  Our Facebook page has close to 150k followers and our You Tube channel is almost at a quarter million subscribers and word of our delicious Freezer-Meals has started to spread rapidly around the world.  We started getting emails from people in Thailand, South Africa, England, Russia, China, Poland, and countless other countries trying to get their hands on our tasty dinners, so the easiest way for me to control who has access to our menu is by creating a membership site.  This way, only people who are in the Panama Food Club can order from our menu. Talk about a problem I never thought I would have!!!

We know that not all taste buds are the same so we try and have as much diversity as possible. We make exotic dishes like Thai, Vietnamese, and Indian; we also have the classics like our Chicken Pot Pie, Pot Roast, Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Meatloaf, Pulled Pork, Mac & Cheese, and Chicken Fried Steaks. We even have vegetarian and vegan options. Take one peek at our menu and you will quickly see why we've been pioneers in the Freezer Meal space for over 14 years and to this day continue to be leaders. Each week we are constantly adding new and innovative options to our menu. You can find a full description of each item on our website along with a photo of the dinner you will be receiving. Being honest about our meals is extremely important to us. The pictures of our entrees are actual photos of our meals, no stock internet images here! I literally take a meal out of the freezer, heat it up, put it on a plate, then snap a picture. It's just one of the many reasons so many of you have come to trust the 2 Guys & A Cooler brand. You will always get what you see, it's the least we can do😉.

Be sure to read all the way to the end of this email to learn about the freebies that we have this week and if you like desserts we have our Greek Baklava on the menu again. Coming soon, we will have a line of incredible cheesecakes for you to delight in!! If you are visiting our site for the first time, I just want to say that many of our items tend to go fast so if you see something you like, be sure to scoop it up quick.  If what you are looking for is not on our menu it means we have already sold out.

Delicious Entrees, Desserts, Dog Treats, Body Care, Freeze-Dried Long-Term Storage Food, Ferments, and we are just getting started.  I don't want to spoil the surprise but I can't wait till you see what's coming😁.

This week we have so many incredible options for you to choose from (to see the pictures be sure to check out my site).  Are you in the mood for full flavored Italian classic?  We have cheesy Baked Ziti (made with our very own house crafted Italian Sausage) on the menu this week .  Do you miss Buttermilk Biscuits smothered in Sausage Gravy, no worries we've got that too.  We also have a beautiful spinach and aged goat milk feta frittata. This Italian-inspired entree is packed with bold flavor. Lots of spinach, our house-crafted aged goat milk feta cheese, and eggs bring this dish together. The spinach keeps this dish extremely moist but the real beauty is our house-crafted goat milk feta. If you would like to see how I made the feta cheese used in this recipe, feel free to check out my YouTube video here (maybe you can make your very own feta as well!): https://youtu.be/Q_Zzsg147qk

At 2 Gus & A Cooler you get more than a freezer meal, you get to taste the love and passion we have for food.  The Experience is what it's all about.

We love a quick sandwich so I always try and have several options available. Have you tried our new chicken and eggplant parm panini? Our classic Sloppy Joe has enough meat to make 2 huge sandwiches (hoagie bun included). What about the classic Philly Cheese Steak or the Italian beef sandwich? We add new sandwiches all the time, so be on the lookout for our rotisserie chicken panini or the Italian panini. Some of you have even been asking for a New Orleans Muffaletta as well (coming soon).

I love exotic food. This week we have our Saag Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, and our Spicy Thai Roasted Pumpkin Soup. Each one of these dishes use completely different cooking styles, ingredients, and deliver completely different exotic flavors. If you like Thai or Indian food, you'll love the authenticity these dinners bring to your table. The Thai Pumpkin Soup dish is SPICY😅.

You can also enjoy our famous Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo as well as our classic New Orleans Red Beans and Andouille sausage. Experience authentic Cajun food in the comfort of your own home. Each dish feeds 1-2 adults.  The Cajun Potato Salad on top of the Gumbo is not included also the rice on top of the red beans and sausage is not included. We do offer it on our menu though😁.

Over the last 14 years, I had to teach myself the art of sausage-making and what a journey it has been.  Today I am internationally known as You Tube's resident sausage instructor and if you like sausage, then you are in for a treat.  My original sausage creations are edible works of art and this week I've got a few on the menu.  We have our Smoked Cajun Andouille Sausage, Smoked Polish Kielbasa, Texas Hot Links, our BBQ Cheese Griller (called the Who Dey Sausage in Cincinnati), and our famous breakfast sausage, both spicy and mild. Coming soon I will have the classic German Bratwurst and the Nuernberger Rost Bratwurst (grilled sausage from Nuernberg Germany) to add to the list.  I've literally taught myself to make every type of sausage there is in the world, so if you have a favorite sausage and would like to enjoy that sausage here in Panama, be sure to let me know by email😉.

We also have an entire line of decadent New York Style Cheesecakes that will be coming soon as well!!  The 4 you see here (not available yet) are; Chocolate/Caramel Turtle Cheesecake, The Smores Cheese Cake, Cinnamon Roll Cheese Cake, and the White Chocolate Raspberry Cheese Cake.  A few others that I will be making will be the Coconut Delight Cheese Cake and the Boquete Coffee Mocha Latte Cheese Cake.  If you haven't guessed by now, I love Cheese Cakes😍. Below are pictures of the actual cheese cakes that we make.

On a completely different note, I'd like to see if anyone is interested in a dye-free and scent-free soap paste for washing dishes. Most of the soaps that are available for washing dishes are heavily scented with synthetic fragrances, and we do not want those scents and chemicals on our pots or dishes. We make dye-free and scent-free soap paste for washing dishes, and below is a picture of a small tub of that soap. If you are interested, I'll put a few on our menu under the "EXRAS" section. This soap not only cleans and lathers great, but it's very gentle on your skin.  Each tub weighs just under a pound and here is what they look like. No Dyes and no fragrance.

Thanks for checking us out.
Eric, Cecelia, Chandler, Keira, & Aidan

See you soon
