We (a group of us working together) have just moved an indigenous family who had been evicted off their squat home of four years. We found them a new place and fixed it up a bit but it is still very marginal housing. However they are extremely grateful. With 10 children, a father who is a paraplegic they needed some more room anyway. They have been living in a wooden shack of 15x25 for years. We are currently looking for chairs (wooden or plastic) any kind, a table or end tables to get food off the flour. We poured a concrete floor so they can now sweep out the place, before they only had dirt. The concrete is a little tough on babies knee's (there are two under one year). So if anyone had a rug say 8x12 max, the babies could crawl around without bloodying there knee's. we (the group) have been blessed by our opportunity to help out this needy family. So if you have any of these things laying around help us help them.
