A Four-Part Series
Thursdays: February 7, 14, 21 & 28, 2019
10:00am – 11:30am @ YiA Yoga
Limited to 8 Participants
You can forget how important a healthy back is until you suffer from back pain. You need a healthy strong supple back for everything from putting on your socks in the morning to walking your dog or driving your car.
In this four-part series you will:
· Explore the foundations of keeping your back healthy all life long.
· Discover what movements you can cultivate to improve function, maintain back health, and heal discomfort.
· Learn how to loosen up all the areas in the body that affect your back. Everything in the body is connected, so it's essential to keep everything open and free. The more space we create in the body the more freedom we experience. The more freedom the better we feel.
· Learn simple poses and exercises to strengthen your core, strengthen your back and stretch your back.
· Decrease tension from the back, hips, neck, spine and shoulders.
· Learn how poor posture contributes to neck and back pain.
This series is open to students of all skill levels who want to create or maintain a healthy back. Participants will receive detailed handouts so that they can practice at home!
