Boquete & Beyond Community Website is at a crossroads and we need your help in making decisions about how to proceed.
I hit the wall and have not added much in the last year, and have done virtually no marketing. Recently I've made use of the time at home due to fuel shortages, and have plans to add more sections to the site, such as Health - Wellness which would include such categories as Doctors, Dentists, Salons, Body Workers, Gyms, etc but that's a lot of work. Since 99% of what's on the site is free of charge, with a tiny amount of revenue from our Order Forms, devoting time to it if people aren't interested is an exercise in futility.
One section I would love to expand is Food, and be Boquete's only resource that includes every restaurant and food vendor in the area. It has been extremely difficult to acquire the information I need to build free pages. Most restaurants do not reply to inquiries for their information, and I've tried to hire bilingual locals to visit these establishments and get the information in person, alas, to no avail.
We've created a survey to answer some questions that will assist us in determining the future of the site. Enormous amounts of time and money have been spent to create this free resource, and I'm willing to continue subsidizing it with the help of my alter ego Sparky.
