The Best of Panama coffee competition is held every year in Boquete. It's been happening over the last two weeks in Vallee Escondido. Last night was the closing ceremony with the winners announced and awards presented. The Peterson family and their Finca Esmeralda not only won the Championship of Panama Cup on The Best of Panama cupping but also won in 3 categories. And to top it all off, they broke 2 world records in specialty coffee scoring.
Boquete is very proud of our world famous coffees in general and of the Peterson family in particular. Congratulation Susan, Price, Rachel, Daniel and Erik.
