Yahoo mail problem and how to work around it.

Reply-To: Jackie <jackiecck@yahoo.com>

Many people had called me the last few days about their yahoo mail problems, no delete, no reply or not even able to read the mails...etc...
Some lucky ones just suffer a day then everything go back to normal, some might still unable to do their email with yahoo.

If you still can't use your yahoo mail and you need to, here is the way to get around it.
I would suggest you to download Mozilla Thunderbird. It is a free email application build by the same company that you could trust - Mozilla.  The company's other popular app is Mozilla Firefox. Here is the link to download Thunderbird or you could just use your browser goole Thunderbird and it will come up.

First download the app, then install it.
after install complete, start the app and configure your yahoo account.
follow these steps if you are not sure what you are doing...

click on "skip this and use my existing email"
put in your name
put in your yahoo mail address
put in your mail address password
keep the remember password checked
*select IMAP rather then defult POP3
click "Create Account"

now you are ready to do your email. just click on your account Inbox and you should see all your emails.

*the different between IMAP and POP3 is that POP3 will download all your emails from your account to  your computer without keeping a copy on the mail server. The IMAP will create a duplicate mails and sync with your account. If you are a new user for this app... I would strongly suggest you to use IMAP.

If your friend can't do their yahoo mails and ask if you know anything about it, please print this instruction to help them.
