Josueth M. is 13 years old, and was born with severe cerebral palsy; he requires constant and total care. He lives with his mother and a sister who attends school. Josueth's father left the family shortly after his disabled son was born, but occasionally provides minimal support.

Josueth's mother is unable to work as her son requires total care; the family lives in a very modest, cramped dwelling with relatives in the Boquete area. Buenos Vecinos de Boquete provides monthly food packages to this family, and the Fundacion Pro Integracion (The Handicapped Center) assists with the many medical transportation needs of this young man.

Our photo of Josueth was taken at the FPI Center, and we were humbled by his mother's stoic smile and obvious love for her special son.
