ARF and the animals of Boquete and surrounding areas are so very grateful to the 110 people that supported this amazing event.
Rave reviews were received for Stone's pulled pork and Colleen Hunts' sides; corn bread, baked beans, coleslaw, and amazing lemon squares.
Stone also provided our country music and Kjersten Van Horn had everyone line dancing like a pro. Gray River Farms donation of hay bales made the venue even more "country" and first rate raffle prizes donated by Mike's Global Grill, Jim Wasson and Penny Ripple of Panama Red Rum, and friends of Panama Joe Coffee were greatly appreciated.
A special thanks to the many volunteers who made this event happen. Proceeds from the Hoedown have given our coffers a bit of a boost and our work can continue.
ARF is considering making this an annual event. Please watch our postings for a 2017 date.
