[News Boquete] Fwd: Batteries for a solar system

A couple of weeks ago I put out a request for help with making the life of a paraplegic and his family a little more tenable. The good news is that with some very kind donations Alberto and family have a new solar light that can also be used to charge a cellphone and a new solar panel to replace the previous one damaged by water infiltration into the cells and the contacts. We have also had the offer of money to purchase a small 12V TV that will provide some enjoyment to the family.

There were two different gentlemen who were kind enough to offer good used deep cycle batteries. At the time of the initial contact I was very involved with the Jazz and Blues Festival and right after that I was out of town for a few days - in the process I have mislaid my notes that included names and phone numbers. I would therefore very much appreciate if you could get back in touch with me - there is a new solar panel in place but the only marginally good battery available only holds enough charge for a couple of hours of evening use.
