It's very simply and our weekly newsletter contains fun stories, great information about Panama, updates on our week, and most importantly a quick overview of our offerings. Right now we are on the cusp of a Boquete innovation that quite possibly might change your life. Unfortunately we are a small operation and can only produce small batch very limited quantities of our products so they tend to move quickly but when this new line becomes available those who are on our subscribed list will hear about it first.
This Week we are very excited to bring to you a special treat!! We want to take you on a culinary journey to the "Land of Smiles" in South East Asia. Yep, we are traveling to Thailand (culinarily speaking). We are bringing you a Thai Chicken Penang Curry, Thai Beef Massaman Curry, Thai Roasted Pumpkin and Coconut Soup, and Thai Green Curry with Brazilian Spinach and Chickpeas. These dishes are all radically different in flavors and range from the mild to the spicy. Check out our menu to get more details about each item. We know that this week many of you will be celebrating Thanksgiving and with so many places offering delicious meals we decided to focus on the other days of the week. We will have a few sides and desserts that would go great to accompany your festive entrees so be sure to check out the menu and see what's available. If it's listed on our menu then it means that we still have it.
THERE WILL BE NO MARKET THE WEEK OF THE 28th. With that said we are completely stocked up in the event that you might need a few extra entrees to hold you over till December. Our delivery schedule, pick up schedule, and market schedule will all remain the same for this week.
We will have Pumpkin Spice Bread, Pumpkin Pies, Real Buttermilk, Mac and Cheese, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Cajun Potato Salad, Buttermilk Cornbread and more this week as sides. Our Buttermilk Cornbread makes for a sensational ingredient if you are making cornbread dressing. Here's a really yummy idea for a cornbread dressing that will quite possible steal the spotlight. On a different note, have you tried our Cream of Mushroom soup? This soup is ridiculous. It's like eating the essence of Nature. Creamy, earthy, umami, rich, and amazing are just a few words that come to mind. Add this soup to your green bean casserole to really elevate it. It has 4 different varieties of fresh mushrooms (harvested the day we cooked the soup). Each package is roughly 1 quart.
Finally, if you are still reading this and you are a Mexican hot sauce lover I am pleased to say that we have imported a wonderful Mexican Hot Sauce that should be quite familiar to you. It is called Valentina and comes directly from the state of Jalisco, Mexico. Panama hot sauces are in abundance but none compare to the sauces that are made South of the US border. As a test to the market I wanted to only get a few to see what the response would be like but if there is a bigger interest I will surely do what I can to bring in more and other varieties. This particular one happens to be my favorite. I will be selling them in pint size (16oz) packages for $5 each. Be sure to check out the extras section of our menu to order. I only have a limited amount available.
