Boquete Investigation into US Army Vet Death


Panama's Public Ministry has opened a homicide investigation into the death of a United States Army veteran whose body was found in his home in Santa Lucia Boquete, Chiriqui, on Tuesday, May 1.
Joseph Wilcox, 70, was discovered in a pool of blood by police in the bathroom of the rented residence in the tourist district reports El Siglo.
The retiree lived alone in a rented house and when he had not been seen for several days, neighbors alerted local police.
Giselle Acosta,  Boquete Homicide Prosecutor said that an investigation had been  opened and an autopsy will reveal the causes of death.
Criminology  agents from  the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences, officials of the DIJ and the Public Ministry visited the house and removed the body to a morgue  in David.
