[News Boquete] Recent news articles regarding reopening of Tocumen Airport


On the Reopening of Tocumen Airport to Commercial Passenger Traffic

 

The Civil Aeronautical Authority extended until July 23 the suspension of commercial flights, and only humanitarian flights and commercial cargo transport are operating. Two recent newspaper articles (one in News Room Panama, and one in La Prensa) discuss the reopening status of Tocumen Airport. Our interpretation is that those two articles offer contradictory viewpoints. If flying into or out of Panama as a passenger is a high priority for you, then you may wish to read those two articles and decide for yourself the odds of flights restarting at the end of July.
