Have you ever wondered what happens with the garbage that we generate in our homes or businesses? We all believe that just by throwing it in the garbage truck, the problem is solved but it is not. 140 tons of garbage are generated in our district daily. For this reason it is necessary to take urgent actions that promote the conservation of our natural resources, of which we are all very proud. For the aforementioned we inform the entire population that as of Friday, January 15, 2021, the Mayor's Office of Boquete assumes the responsibility of coordinating the collection of recycling. We thank the Boquete 3R Environmental Community Association, under the direction of lic. Ayola Singh Gil, who were in charge of collecting the recycling for three years in a row, in an excellent way. From this date on, we will start a campaign with the aim of promoting a culture of recycling throughout the district, so we invite you to become an information multiplier entity, sharing the posts and taking your clean and dry recycling to the Boquete fair facilities, entering through gate no. 7. We will start collecting on Friday of each week, starting on Friday, January 15, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. at 2:00 p.m. We will only receive paper, cardboard, cans, plastic and glass bottles and tetrapack cardboard, following the ACAB 3R model, taking all the biosecurity measures. We appreciate reading the recommendations on how you should take your recycled material, in the following post that we will be publishing, since a staff in charge will check that all recycled material complies with the recommendations. "BOQUETE, RECYCLE" United, for the environment.
