Hello All,
The next harvest for Panama Fresh Organic is January 20, 2021! BIGGER and better shrimp than ever! We are currently going through another round of acquiring a permit from the ARAP. The pick up and pay will likely be in the same place as always and I will send out a watsapp a day or two before as a reminder.
The next "Basics of Aquaculture" class starts Jan 12, check out the info below including two reviews by two different groups of students who completed this class already.
I have included a link for a free lecture on Aquaponics below. I did this for two reasons, one is for all the people that have asked me for info about creating an aquaponics sytem in Panama and the second is so everyone can see how much information can be learned from one of my classes! John White from Spooky2 is hosting the talk. That guy is just beyond Awesome.
And finally, check out this video on how whales are stranding themselves at rate 10 times higher during this decade than the previous one. From what? I will give you a hint....MERCRUY.

thanks to everyone and Happy New Year, another day in paradise, living the dream!

Jan 12 to Feb 25,2021 Online Aquaculture Course See free aquaponics lecture from the course: https://www.spooky2videos.com/video/sama-talks-episode-154-aquaponics-grow-your-own-healthy-food/ Here are two reviews from previous students: "I enjoyed taking Basics of Aquaculture" with Dr Bill as he made the classes fun by teaching us science through very interesting videos of cool things like sharks, piranhas and lionfish. We learned all the basics of the nitrogen cycle, how to estimate productivity in aquaculture systems and we saw how all kinds of plants and animals are grown in aquaculture systems all over the world" William Miller. 12/28/20 and " I took the class because of my potential interest in pursuing aquaculture in my retirement years. Dr. Bill provided an excellent foundation in the science and business aspects of aquaculture. He generously shared his life experiences in raising tilapia and shrimp. His lectures were both interesting and filled with humor. I am glad I took the class both for the information and friendship I gained from Dr. Bill. Jim Vickroy, 12/26/20 | | | | |
