For Beginners and Experienced Painters | |
The Antics of Cats ! This fun watercolor class explores Body Postures, Color, and Textures and how to achieve them using dry brush strokes, a sea sponge, masking fluid, and more. We will paint both domestic and wild cats but focus on the domestic. This class focuses on how to draw cats, as well as texture techniques with paint and a variety of tools. Bring pictures of your cats in order to paint your own pets in class. Please include masking fluid in your supplies and bring all the painting supplies in your tool box. I recommend Pebeo or Windsor Newton masking fluid. Jerrys Artarama is my favorite art supplier. If you purchase $45, you will get free shipping to Miami. Dick Blick is another good source. Join a small group of adventurers risking the wild ride of "almost out of control watercolor!" Fee for the three days and 9 hours of instruction: $90 Payment must be made in advance. If you are a Beginner, the fee is $139 which covers the materials used in class and the instruction you receive. The paints and a brush will be yours to take home.
