Good Day, Boquete!
Well, here we are looking forward to the next BCP Theater Season, planning productions to appear in September and October in our wonderful Tent Theater next to The Rock Restaurant.
As Artistic Director, I wanted to reach out to the community to get a feel for your expectations, ideas and suggestions.
We learned an awful lot from our first season in the tent, and are confident that this year we can present an even better theater experience. As a reminder, last year we presented an original off-beat comedy, a Blues concert, a musical revue, and a full-length drama. We felt this offered something for everyone, and for 2023 we'll replicate the parts of that season which were most successful.
Our slate of productions will again include a musical revue – this time based on the music of Motown. We will bring back the Blues Extravaganza, and offer a full-length drama, a Panamanian production, and another off-beat comedy – this time, the popular Broadway musical, Little Shop of Horrors.
We'll need lots of help with this ambitious slate for the season, so we seek VOLUNTEERS for all aspects – both on and behind the stage.
