[News Boquete] Mounelli Specialty Coffee bar; introduction & events

🎙️ It's official! We've opened our Specialty Coffee bar 'Mounelli' in #BoquetePanama!

Mounelli is a healthy breakfast and Specialty Coffee bar founded by the dynamic duo, Melanie & Mounir, who bring a dash of Belgian charm to the vibrant landscapes of Boquete.
Born out of their passion for nutritious breakfasts, speciality coffee and the joy of sharing bites with good company.

 

PS. This picture of us was taken during our first visit to Panama, San Blas, in early 2020. We feel so blessed to be able to start our business here in beautiful Panama 🙏🏽🇵🇦

 

But Mounelli is not just a breakfast bar – it's a delightful fusion of healthful choices and convivial moments. We are creating a place for education, well-being, gastronomy and fun, a place where people can connect. 

 

☕️ Melanie is a coffee consultant (Belgian Barista Champ. 2009) and organises coffee farm tours, barista workshops, hospitality training & coffee tastings. More information: www.tropix.coffee.

🫶🏽 Mounir is a well-being coach, nutritionist, phytotherapist, Reiki healer and gives classes in Qi-gong, meditation and breathwork. Information & bookings: www.naga.care.

 

Our weekly classes:

·       Wednesday from 10-11 am; Meditation and Breathwork - $10 or $7,5 members

·       Friday from 10-11 am; Body-Mind healing - $10 or $7,5 members

 

At Mounelli, we carefully select the products we use to prepare our food, we offer both a fixed menu and seasonal specials (avocado toast - papaya smoothie). As a nutritionist, Mounir enriches the recipes with herbs and seeds; serving healthy, nutritious food. 

-> Are you looking for a location for your frequent meeting, or friend-gathering then contact us to discuss the possibilities. We offer diverse catering options like; apero afternoon with wine, coffee and sweets, etc.

 

         

And, yes the pancakes are vegan, and yes they are delicious!

 

As we want to bring even more than all of the above, we have planned the following events for January 2024:

SAT. 20th. 2-3 pm: Natural Healthcare Talk (free lecture)
SAT. 20th. 5-7 pm: DJ Session (jazz, soul, funk,...) Free
TUE. 23rd.  3-5 pm: Workshop Coffee Tasting ($ 40pp)
SAT. 27th. 5-7 pm: DJ Session (soul, funk, latin,..) Free
