Location:  Panama

 

Event:  Various groups are expected to begin demonstrations on April 28.  These groups announced protests in Panama Oeste, Chepo, and Panama Central. Potential locations in Panama City include:

 

·        Transistmica, near the University of Panama

·        Parque Porras

·        The National Assembly

·        Cinta Costera 

 

Actions to Take: Exercise caution and flexibility and refer to the demonstration guidance below: 

 

·        Be aware of your surroundings.

·        Avoid demonstrations. 

·        Monitor local media for updates. 

·        Exercise caution when traveling and plan routes accordingly.
