[News Boquete] Saving Paws and More

Kirsten Cares For Cats is dedicated to providing veterinary care to cats that would not receive it otherwise.  Prompt medical attention was given to Michurris after a dog mauled his paw.  Follow up visits were provided and Michurris' paw was saved. There was no need for amputation and Michurris has full use of the paw.  Nathalie's cat had a severe eye problem but because Kirsten Cares For Cats provided the care needed the cat's vision was saved.  Oscar was a stray cat originally but is now being looked after by Lourdes with our support of supplying cat food.  Oscar has white ears and is thus prone to skin cancer which he got.  Oscar's ear was operated on and the surgery and all his subsequent follow up visits are being provided.  Without surgery, the cancer would have spread and the entire ear would have to be removed.  These are just a few of the many cats receiving veterinary care and given the opportunity for a healthier life.  The veterinary costs for July were $1812.50  Sterilizations were done, vaccines given, urine tested, wounds, infections and abscesses attended to among other situations.  Kirsten Cares For Cats is asking for your support so this kind of care can continue to be provided.  Please consider donating to save a cat's paw, vision, ear and so wounded and sick cats can receive the needed care.
