[News Boquete] The best has yet to come!!

 

A great big welcome to all of you who are new in town!!  It's has been my pleasure to meet so many of you through recent interactions!!  For those of you that I have not yet met, my name is Eric Chef and owner of 2 Guys & A Cooler.

 

2 Guys & A Cooler began 15 years ago at the Boquete Community Market (BCP) with a simple idea: make great food, serve generous portions, and keep it affordable for everyone. Today, we're proud to say that our brand has stayed true to that promise. A decade and a half later, we're still delivering the highest-quality prepared meals, the largest portion sizes, and the best value around. What's even better is what our customers gain today that we didn't have back then—experience. With over 53 years of combined expertise, we've mastered the art of crafting exceptional freezer meals. This depth of knowledge is poured into every dish we make and while great food is our passion, customer experience is our priority. When you buy from us, you can count not only on delicious, dependable meals, but also on friendly, attentive service that goes above and beyond.

 

If you enjoy delicious, healthy, flavorful, meals from all over the world then I invite you to take a peek at our expansive menu.  We boast over 350 rotating food options that keep our dynamic menu fresh and constantly changing.  Want American Comfort Food, Spicy Thai Dishes, Authentic Cajun or Mexican Dishes, what about Texas BBQ?  Do you like sausage?  We have one of the largest and most diversified selections around.  German, Polish, Texas, Italian, Breakfast, Mexican, Cajun, and Creole sausage just to name a few.  Our biggest problem is keeping them in stock😅.  If you are into desserts, be on the look out because our Baklava AND our rich New York Cheesecakes are about to make a presence back on the menu.  I will most likely be making our Pecan Turtle Cheesecake, Raspberry & White Chocolate Brulee Cheesecake, Blueberry Swirl Cheese Cake, Coconut Dream Cheesecake and one of our personal favorites Boquete's own Chocolate Vanilla Latté Cheesecake.  If you haven't guessed by now, I LOVE cheesecake!!!     

 

We pride ourselves on having brutally honest marketing.  There are plenty of sites that use AI generated images or internet stock photos to represent their food, we prefer to go in a different direction.  When you visit our website, every food picture you see is a direct representation of the food that you will be receiving.  We cook our meals, package them up, then freeze them.  Once frozen I'll take one out of the freezer, cook it according to the package directions, then put the meal on a plate.  At that time, I'll snap a photo.  So, what you see is what you get when it comes to our meals.  No tricks or surprises just good clean honest food.

 

We also offer generous portions at the most affordable price using the best locally sourced ingredients as well.  Our average entrée price is $8.00 - $9.00 and many of our customers tell us that they can generally get 2 – 4 meals out of each entrée.  That's an astounding $2.25 per meal in 2025!!  That's what I'm talking about.  Meals like Italian Lasagna, Chicken Alfredo, Chicken or Beef Pot Pie, Beef Stroganoff, Southern Pot Roast, Cajun Gumbo, and the list goes on……

 

What's more exciting than all of that though is that the best is yet to come.  Some might even say that we are just getting warmed up.  As we are approaching 2026 the 2 Guys & A Cooler team is yet again about to trailblaze a completely new path in the food scene here in Boquete.  The scope of this "Experience" will be quite large and will serve to bring the community together in the most wonderful way.  Each week on our newsletter we try and give little updates regarding this new project so if you'd like to be tuned in as to what's about to happen, be sure to sign up here:

Here's a little sneak peek at our New Dragon Fruit Orchard that I'm currently building (with over 200 varieties)!!!  This will only be a small part of the "Experience" 😉.
 

 


Have you checked out our Main Corso Line of Dog Food and Treats?  This section of our menu is about a year old and continues to expand.  Our single ingredient dog treats are perfect for your furry companion and are always a hit!!  Our newest addition to this line is our Main Corso Raw food mix.  This revolutionary product allows you to have your dog on a completely raw diet without all the fuss or weird ingredients!!  We take care of creating the perfect blend of raw ingredients (vegetables, organs, bone, collagen, fruit, seeds, and nuts) for your dog and you provide the protein (chicken, beef, pork, turkey, etc).  This is a great option for any dog of any size.  Many of our customers are transitioning their pets to the "Main Corso" Line while others are simply using it as an ultra-healthy supplement to their existing diet.  Either way your dog will love you for it..  We sell out of this item very fast but don't work we are currently in the process of restocking our inventory.  If you don't see it on our menu, more will be available next week..   

 

Let's get into my favorite subject, Food!

This week our Traditional Italian Salami Napoli is ready.  This Southern Italian salami comes from the Campania region around Naples.  It is delicately seasoned, smoked, naturally fermented, and left to dry for 6 weeks.  In order to make this salami traditional I literally had to recreate the climate in Naples, Italy and thanks to our Stagionello Dry Curing Cabinet this was not a problem.  Each pack comes with a stick of our Salami Napoli; all you need to do is thinly slice and enjoy.  The thinner the better!!  Let me know if you would prefer to have this salami pre-sliced and I can make that happen.


Bacon Chicken Ranch Casserole.  This full-bodied chicken dish rests in a parmesan cream sauce, rotini noodles, and topped with cheese and crispy bacon.  Comfort food till the last bite!!

Angel Chicken.  This beautiful chicken dish brings a symphony of flavors to your dinner table.  Zesty, creamy, and full of umami our Angel Chicken is low in sodium and loaded with flavor..  For the freshest "restaurant quality" experience after you have baked the dish according to the package instructions, add 1/4 cup of warmed milk to the dish and toss to combine.  Serve and enjoy!!  

Italian Sausage Thin Crust Pizza.  One of my personal favorite pizza's that Cecelia makes.  This thin crust classic starts with pizza dough.  A dough that uses a combination of flours to achieve that perfect crispy yet chewy texture.  Once formed a layer of herb infused pizza sauce is added then topped with the perfect amount of mozzarella cheese.  Finally, the Italian sausage, sliced red onions, and black olives are added to complete this flavor packed masterpiece!!  Have you tried this pie yet?

Hoppin John's.  A true Southern staple.  Black Eyed peas give this dish it's signature flavor while the Smoked Sausage and the smoked ham that I add brings it to a different dimension.  A perfect dish for lunch or dinner and great with rice, fresh bread, or even better fresh cornbread!

Loaded Baked Potato Soup.  A dish that has recently gone viral here in Boquete for good reason.  This soup has all of the elements of a fully loaded baked potato.  Sour Cream, Chives, Butter, Bacon, Baked Potatoes in a hearty and creamy soup that is unashamed.  Bring on the flavor!!!!
