Hi community! Los Mininos Cat Sanctuary is pleased to share a new program we are piloting. This program is designed to meet two important needs:
2. Virtual adoption also helps us fund special diets, medications, and healthcare for cats whose medical issues make them un-adoptable, but who are still incredibly precious. We believe connecting people who want to adopt but cannot with kitties who are not suitable for adoption is the perfect pairing!
When you commit to a virtual adoption, your monthly donation provides healthcare and security for a cat with special needs. In return, you'll receive periodic updates, photos, and stories about your kitty and you're invited to come visit the cat you're sponsoring.
To kick off the program, meet XieXie (pronounced Shay-Shay)!
He is a nine year old treasure. Rescued from a hoarder who fed him poor quality dog food, XieXie developed chronic pancreatitis. His treatment requires a highly restricted special diet. Thankfully, XieXie has responded very well, and his symptoms are now controlled. However, his food costs $65 per bag, which lasts about 4-5 weeks.
If you'd like to virtually adopt XieXie, a monthly PayPal donation of $65 will cover the cost of his special diet. I have lots of XieXie stories and photos to share with his adopter. This kitty is truly one of a kind. I've had him for years, and he never ceases to amaze and entertain!
