Together, we will brew different kinds of coffee, where the effect on the taste of each parameter will be explained. After this workshop, you will understand how to adjust your brewing recipe to your favourite brewing method, with your full automatic brewing machine or by hand. Open to all levels.

ICED COFFEE WORKSHOP

This hands-on Iced Coffee Workshop invites participants to explore the art of crafting exceptional cold coffee through three popular brewing methods: espresso-style iced coffee, shock brew, and cold brew.
Throughout the session, attendees will dive into the distinct techniques and flavour profiles of each method—extracting espresso for a bold and vibrant iced drink, mastering the shock brew technique for a crisp and aromatic cup, and preparing smooth, naturally sweet cold brew through slow extraction. Each method is accompanied by guided tastings, allowing participants to fully experience and compare the results.

This specialised workshop offers a practical introduction to sample roasting using the Link sample roaster—designed primarily for coffee professionals seeking to refine their roasting evaluation skills.
Participants will gain hands-on experience operating the machine, understanding roast curve development, managing heat application, and evaluating how small roast adjustments impact flavour in the cup. The session focuses on precision, repeatability, and quality control—essential skills for green buyers, roasters, and quality managers.
