A five-course afternoon on a cacao farm near La Concepción.
| An Easter Table Beneath the Cacao Trees If your idea of Easter is a long table beneath the trees, good food, and time to linger, you may feel at home here. On Sunday, April 5, from 3:00–6:00 PM, twelve guests will gather for a five-course Easter afternoon on our cacao farm near La Concepción. Garden seats begin at $97. Only twelve seats are available. Guests arrive to a fruit and chocolate board and a refreshing drink as they settle into the grove. Courses are served slowly, one at a time, with space for conversation and connection between each. The table is set in the shade of the cacao trees, where a light breeze moves through the grove and conversation comes easily. The meal is shaped by what the farm is offering that week, harvested at the moment it is ready and prepared simply for the table. Many of the dishes come directly from the orchard and estate, so guests who enjoy plant-forward meals will find plenty to savor, with heartier courses woven in as the meal progresses. This is not a restaurant meal. It is a shared table, where the afternoon unfolds gently, and the focus is as much on the gathering as the food. Cacao grown here is crafted into chocolate that is shared throughout the meal, including handmade Easter bunnies prepared to accompany dessert, along with a small selection of bonbons for the table. Because the table is small, the afternoon remains personal. By the end of the meal, most guests feel less like visitors and more like part of the gathering. Reservations close March 29 so the menu can be finalized and preparations can begin. You are warmly invited.
