[News Boquete] Volunteers needed for Amigos del Parque projects

September 24, 2026    Dear Penny    We need you!   There’s a lot happening at Amigos del Parque, and we’re looking for volunteers who would like to lend a hand, meet new people, and help support Parque Biblioteca Boquete (Library Park).   Tastes from the Masters 2027 We’re gearing up for the 2027 edition of Tastes from the Masters, to be held on April 4, 2027, in the Grand Hall at Valle Escondido. It promises to be our biggest and most exciting "Tastes" yet—and it will take a great team of volunteers to make it happen.   Our first meeting of the Kitchen Cabinet, our Tastes volunteer team, will be held on October 10 at 2:00 PM on the second floor of the Biblioteca Boquete. Please RSVP by email to get your name on the list. Come hear about the many different ways you can help and find something that matches your interests, talents, and available time. There’s a role for everyone.   Volunteer in the Park We’re also looking for volunteers who would enjoy spending a few hours in the Park on weekends—welcoming visitors, answering questions, serving as docents, accepting donations, and helping people discover everything the park has to offer.   We’re especially interested in building a regular weekend presence during the dry season, when the park is at its busiest.   If you’d like to volunteer in the park, please email us. Whether you can give a few hours or become more involved, we’d love to have you join us.
