[News Boquete] Fwd: ACCB Tuesday Talks, November 3rd Speaker is Dr. Daniel Daves

 We as a Boquete, Panama community are rebuilding the ACCB weekly talks on Tuesdays at the Tap Out Marketplace. The weekly talks are now put together by Joe and Linda Hart.   MINSA social distancing rules limit entry to the first 50 attendees weekly.  Come early. - Tim Rhodes.

Dr. Daniel Daves will be the featured speaker this week from 10:30 - 12:00 am. He is the The author of the new book "Gobal Food Revolution".  He is also an international conference speaker and is an owner of Global Food Providers Farm and Dehydration Center in Chiriqui, Panama.  Daniel will be speaking about the growing local, regional and international food famine and how it has expanded in Panama due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This will deeply affect us all in Chiriqui.  He will also offer great inspiration and hope, along with an active plan to feed the poor and counter the famine in Panama.  There will be a special surprise for attendees after the meeting.

[News Boquete] Needing Help

Good Morning Boquete:

This is Ray Eaton and my wife Wendy and I have been living in Boquete for the past 5+ years.

We happened to be back in the U.S.  when the Covid lockdown began, and at this point won't be able to get back down there until Christmas time.  Wendy has run out of her prescription inhaler and we are trying to find someone who could carry her refill(s) back to the States and then ship them to us upon arrival.  I know that's a lot to ask of someone, but that's what we need.  We, of course, are ready to pay any shipping charges, and have the refills, just needing a willing party to carry them back.

Do you know anyone headed this way that could help?

There are several U.S. government stimulus checks that have been sitting in the Boquete post office for months.  If yours is there, and you don't pick it up soon, they will toss it.  The p.o. is not closed.  Just go to the door and ask for your mail. However, this week there are many holidays.
