Imagine strolling through Parque Biblioteca Boquete and continuing beyond today's trails—crossing the Caldera River to explore peaceful woodland paths alive with birdsong, towering trees, and the beauty of nature. Imagine discovering a side of the park that has always been part of Price and Susan Peterson's vision but has never before been accessible.
When Price and Susan Peterson first looked at a piece of land filled with rocks, dirt, water—and more rocks—they imagined something extraordinary. Through their vision, determination, and generosity, that dream became today's Parque Biblioteca Boquete, a remarkable gift to our community.
As Price celebrates his 90th birthday and Susan her 85th, we have a unique opportunity to honor them in the most meaningful way possible—by helping complete that vision.
The Peterson Project will help fund a crossing of the Caldera River and the creation of wilderness trails beyond it, opening an entirely new area of the park to visitors and creating new opportunities to experience the river, the forest, and the remarkable wildlife of Boquete.
On July 4, we honored the Peterson family by naming the covered wooden bridge at the south end of the park Puente Peterson. Today, we invite you to become part of that legacy.
Please make a gift to The Peterson Project. Join us in honoring two extraordinary people by helping complete the vision they began. Together, we can open a new chapter in the story of Parque Biblioteca Boquete.

P.S. Every gift brings us one step closer to crossing the Caldera River and opening a beautiful new wilderness area that Price and Susan have envisioned for years.
Gifts will be received through the Peterson Birthday Tribute Fund, and Price and Susan will be informed of everyone who contributes, along with our heartfelt appreciation for helping honor their remarkable legacy.
