A look at the impact our community made possible during the first six months of 2026 at Boquete Hospice and Health Foundation
As we reflect on the first six months of 2026, we are filled with gratitude for everything our community has made possible. Every equipment loan, every companionship visit, every volunteer hour, and every donation represents neighbors helping neighbors. Because of your generosity, compassion, and trust, Boquete Hospice & Health continues to provide practical support, companionship, and hope to individuals and families throughout our community.
By the Numbers
Health Support: 56 community members received adult incontinence supplies and nutritional supplements, already surpassing all of last year's total of 52 (7.7% increase).
Equipment Loans: 208 pieces of mobility and personal care equipment were loaned to community members during the first six months of the year—already 69% of last year's total of 302.
Companionship Program: Our volunteers completed 26 companionship visits, a remarkable 62.5% increase over the 16 visits provided during all of last year.
General Assistance: We assisted 244 individuals and families, reaching 67% of last year's total of 363.
These numbers represent much more than statistics. They represent caregivers receiving much-needed support, neighbors regaining independence through borrowed equipment, individuals receiving essential health support through adult incontinence aids and nutritional supplements such as Ensure and Klim, as well as community members finding comfort through compassionate companionship. Behind every number is a person, a family, and a story of kindness made possible by this remarkable community.
