Subject = TRASH COLLECTION IN ALTO JARAMILLO
Message to all residence of Alto Jaramillo from David Ryan!
After talking with the teacher at the school in Alto Jaramillo and listening to her complaint that she has to keep cleaning up trash when local dogs rip open the bags left right outside her school and to the fact she was going to try and stop us from leaving our trash outside the school, I decided to take action and construct a place to leave our trash and to stop the dogs being able to access the trash.
Today is Tuesday the 12th of NOV and it will be finished in next couple of days.
If you would like to leave your trash to be collected you will find the deposit on opposite side of the road to the school. Please make sure it is bags that can be thrown into the back of the truck and NOT in small supermarket bags.
They normally collect on a Wednesday at no set time could be morning or in the evening. This day will change when holidays occur!
The school collects recycling to make money for the school so when you take your trash separate your recycling material of glass – plastic - cardboard and take it to the school in a bag!
The cost of materials has been $422.06 I have receipts if anyone would like to see them. I will list items below; I am deducting $50.00 from that as I kept half of the roll of cyclone wire fence!
Here is my proposal. I would each person who wants to use the collection point to donate $20.00 towards the cost.
I will keep the first $200.00 and I will foot the rest of the costs! Any money over and above the $200.00 will be given to Ruby MacKenzie towards buying Christmas presents for the kids at the Alto Jaramillo School.
So I am potentially donating $172.00 towards the presents. I how you will be happy to pay $20.00 to NOT have to take your trash to Caldera.
Lee Zelter has agreed to be banker; you can pay your $20.00 to him at the Tuesday morning gathering at the theater. Or give it to me directly if you see me or pass my house. My number is 67811734.
Please pay money a.s.a.p. as the school kids Xmas party will possibly be Dec 5th.
I thank you in advance for your donation and to help but a smile of a child's face!
David Ryan.
