ReAL Has No Buyer for Recyclable plastic

I am sorry to report that "ReAL Boquete" can no longer accept plastic of any type as we have lost our buyer and have no way to dispose of it.  

 

We expect to be able to accept PET (#1) soon, but have no current prospects for other plastics.

 

 For this reason, we suggest you hold on to your PET until further notice, and send your other plastics to the landfill.   This is clearly an unacceptable solution for all of us, but at this time we see no alternative.

 

Please note that we are still able to take all kinds of paper, aluminum and galvanized steel cans, tetra packs, glass, aluminum bottle tops, and cork.

 

As always, all recyclable materials delivered to the center should be clean and compressed (to save space), and only dropped off during operating hours.
