Local, organic, greenhouse vegetables now available at a convenient location......The Food Box in Volcancito
 
The Food Box is well known for their prime meat selections of aged Angus meat, T-bones, rib eye and prime rib, lamb chops, pork ribs, and ground lamb and pork. 
In addition, they carry a selection of exotic spices and many hard-to-find items.  
 
You can now conveniently purchase organic, greenhouse produce while shopping at The Food Box.  Same quality as before, same affordable prices.

All produce is grown without toxic chemicals, insecticides or pesticides.  Seeds are heirloom and/or organic. 
                                               
Produce for the week of February 25th:
 
ASSORTED CHERRY TOMATOES  - great for just popping into your mouth   
 
SALSA TOMATOES - great for making tomato sauce or salsa
 
ROMA TOMATOES - great for making tomato sauce, salsa, or with a salad
 
 
 
ROSA BLANCA EGGPLANT - slice, drizzle with olive oil and bake; makes a delicious eggplant "humus"
                                                                                               
 
 
 
 
  
 
SWEET RED PEPPERS - sweet tasting, great eating raw, or stuffed peppers
 
 
 
 
       
 
 
Hot Peppers - add a little spice to your meals
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
BRAZILIAN EGGPLANT - roast, chop and mix with tomatoes and onions served over crispy bread - yum!
