[News Boquete] Organic Produce and More from Finca Santa Marta

Good afternoon from Finca Santa Marta

Below is a list of just a few of the many items we have available for you this week.

See our web site at http://www.fincasantamarta.biz/ to place an order for pickup at the Tuesday morning market in Boquete or Tuesday afternoon pickup in David at Restaurante Cuatro.  Email me or call me at 6459-53218 for more information about either location.

We also ship via Uno Express on Thursdays to many points in Panama including Chame, and Panama City for Friday morning pickup.  Call me for more information on how this program works.

OK.  Now for the list.  It continues to grow as we continue to grow more fresh organic food for you.  Remember… fresh tastes better and contains more nutritional value for you and isn't that what you really want for your family?  Items marked with a * are grown by us at Finca Santa Marta using totally organic methods.  Items marked with *** are grown by our trusted partners and are "near organic" utilizing 95% organic methods.

Many local farmers are using a totally chemical program to raise their vegetables.  If you don't mind some foreign chemical residues on your veggies then go for the cheaper local produce.

As a farmer you either do the research yourself about the safety of using chemicals on your farm and decide how much and when to use them or you rely on a commission salesman from one of the local chemical supply businesses to tell you what to use to control whatever problem you encounter.  Guess what method many local farmers use.

Of course you know the direction we took Finca Santa Marta from the very beginning.  Our goal is to raise the freshest, tastiest, most nutritional produce and chickens available in Chiriqui.  Try some of our products this week and let us know what you think.
